  • Multiple occurances of any Inventory item allow for a single record to include multiple parts.  For instance two radios of the same make and model.  Simply create separate lines and locations and enter the unique serial numbers for each.

  • Groupings: Relate any inventory item to a Grouping and a serialized number will be assigned.  Example: Batteries can be assigned a number and a label placed on them to match the Inventory record, making sure identification when maintenance or replacement is performed.

  • Files and other records are easily recorded with Groupings.  Finding where "Engine expenses" are filed is easy.  Just create an Inventory item named "Engine expenses" and assign it to a file folder grouping and the number for that file will be assigned and displayed to direct the user to the appropriate file number.  By selecting a location it will also be clear where the file is stored (captain's cabin, accountant's office, bridge, etc.)
